This week PCC hosted voting on campus and voters were interviewed by the Courier, Actor Bambadjan Bamba gave a speech alongside a book signing, and the losing streak continues for the Lancers Water Polo team! News

Near the last hour of voting on the last day, the Courier interviewed voters on PCC’s campus. Voters were asked why they were voting last minute and their motivations for voting at all. Students and other voters also expressed their feelings about the election and future hopes as they waited in anticipation for the race’s results.

The Los Angeles Dodgers’ job was to prove they could triumph in the world series and gain the trust of fans again. Assistant Features Editor Mitchel Gaby argues that the Dodgers needed to take accountability for their past subpar performances and how that accountability allowed them to learn important lessons to then finally make a comeback win.

For PCC’s TROPA–The Reunited Organization of Pilipinix Americans–, the Friendship Games, an annual competition for Pilipinix American student organizations, isn’t just a game. For them, the Games serve as an opportunity to connect with other Pilipinix students and to show pride in their shared culture.

In their recent game against the Chaffey College Panthers, the Lancers’ winless season carried on after their 14-9 defeat last Wednesday afternoon. The Lancers’ poor shooting average and offense was reflected in the game’s result.
