Features
In features this week, Courier staff writer Ayden Saeki reported on PCC’s mascot hiring crisis. In spring 2023 PCC moved on from their old one Larry the Lancer (much loved by The Courier) to Lance O’Lot who’s supposed to be a Horse. Despite the crisis, Lance O’Lot has brought joy to PCC students and a local Latino Heritage month parade.
PCC Sports
In PCC sports coverage staff writer and Courier photographer Samuel Watson got to witness a trouncing not seen since 2002, in the Lancers 9-0 rout of Imperial Valley.
Lifestyle
In Lifestyle this week staff writer Odessa Hairapetian waded into the disgusting actions of disgraced Dodgers pitcher Julio Urías and the opinions of Dodger fans on campus. Most of them focused in on the fact that Urías had acted as a role model for the current generation of Mexican-American Dodger fans.
