The Courier Newsletter: Week of October 2nd

In week five at The Courier, the newsroom had a fun time with trying to fit “pizzazz” and the non word: Pizzazzless into a stories headline, unfortunately it didn’t and it only made in the newsletter. For this week’s news stories, we have a story on the ongoing search for a new permanent Superintendent-President, a story about parking updated policies and a story on legal and potentially non-legal grass once a bill is signed here in California. For opinion this week we are featuring a story from last week, because it was pizzazzless this week… In features a writer wrote about another writer and their book event at a local Pasadena Bookstore. In sports, we had a story from the Women’s Soccer game which was the only game that was covered this week by The Courier. In lifestyle, we had a number of exciting stories from jazz at PCC, a review of both Dumb Money and Saw X, and the semesters first edition of Courier Cookin’. And in this weeks edition of the podcast, The Courier is happy to present a video version, alongside our usual audio version of the podcast. Enjoy!
